Gateway to Peace relies on the support of community members to keep its program going. We estimate that each Peace Museum event costs approximately $80.00 per event hour, which means that an eight hour (full-day) event will cost the Museum $640. However, our goal is to provide our program to schools and community organizations free of charge. We cannot do this without the help of generous individuals like you!

Planning a Peace Museum Event


The museum is undergoing a change to its program model, and will be implementing an exhibit check-out system as opposed to our former mobile model in which museum staff came to your school and set up the exhibits with the help of many volunteers.  We came to the difficult realization that the former model's volunteer requirements were simply too burdensome for schools and for our tiny organization, and we hope the new system will make delivering peacemaking lessons simple and easy for everyone involved.

WE hope to have the new system in place by 2017. We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause, and we hope you will check back with us soon.
